Most cruelly of all, Rome, mother of the Empire, has been neglected in favour of a more practical capital at Mediolanum.

Attila Total War Faction Guide

This is a Western Roman Empire guide for Total War: Attila. The strategies mentioned here were used on Legendary difficulty, so they will work for lower difficulties also.

A disclaimer: I do not claim to have the best strategy, but this guide will go over what worked for me. I typically play a more defensive style, putting thought into expansion, playing factions off against each other, wiping out factions completely, and like to consolidate all my territory. Alias fever dream rarity.
